The City of Cahors and the Grand Cahors Community chose to get involved in European mobility Week. Indeed, our communities are engaged, for 2 years, along with Europe, to promote alternative modes of transport to the car, especially in the European project SMOOTH where Grand Cahors is the lead partner. The commitment to participate in the Mobility Week is all the stronger thanks to many local stakeholders who have decided to participate by offering animations representing the emergence of a collective awareness and involvement to encourage the use of new modes of travel.

The Mobility Week provides an opportunity to initiate a number of activities that promote citizens’ awareness of sustainable and responsible mobility. The full programme contained a rich variety of activities and surprises, including the organization of a National Bicycle Polo Tournament on the Fenelon fairways.

It is time to change our habits so that the wish to live in a cleaner environment can become a reality.
