Cahors is no exception to the trend for soft modes of transport and the bike is gaining ground for journeys in urban areas. In addition, the network of narrow streets of Cahors provides incentives to reduce the presence of the car in the city, both to improve traffic flow and solve the parking issue.

Faced with new habits and geographical constraints, the city must adapt to the cyclists their place in a city previously designed for the car.

This new cycle parking service allows in particular persons resident outside Cahors to share daily trips between car and bike. At the parking area, the user parks the car and gets on their bike available in the garage. Indeed, the bicycle may be left in the garage for several hours or overnight to avoid having to transport it.
